Church is about God and His people.
Not a building.
In March of 2009 a Team of six families met together with a dream to plan an Easter service. Each team member invited friends and family who did not have a church home to attend. Easter Sunday, April 12th, 2009, was a memorable day as 65 people packed in a room to hear the Gospel. The response was so great that they decided to meet a couple times each month throughout the year.
Momentum was building and the small congregation knew that a movement was coming. On January 3rd, 2010, Christ Community Church was birthed and met on a weekly basis at Mountain Top Coffeehouse on Main St. in Churubusco.
On Sunday, August 15th, 2010, C3 moved from Mountain Top to Turtle Town Plaza (just north of Churubusco on US 33). The larger space allowed for growth and more ministries to reach the community.
October 11th, 2015, Christ Community Church started meeting at the Churubusco High School Auditorium. As the desire continues to connect people to Jesus and each other, C3 has been so blessed to see many individuals come to have a personal relationship with Jesus. Relationships have been restored. Life has been brought back to marriages. Baptisms. People have been freed from addictions and so much more.
May 10th of 2020, The Center became the home of C3 and all of their various ministries!
The best days are yet ahead!
